Your pediatrician
manages disease.
I build your family's
health & well-being foundation.

Together, we focus on the daily drivers of family health and well-being — the 99% that happens outside the clinic. The goal: set your family's health trajectory high early, so it carries through life. A strategic, holistic plan built for your family's real life.

This is a private service for parents who are done sorting through conflicting advice and want one trusted expert overseeing their family's Health & Well-being Portfolio. Because your family's health isn't an expense to manage — it is the highest-return investment you can make in your children's future, paid back in a lifetime of vitality and resilience.

A note on honesty: science is clear that there is no "quick fix" for the things that matter most — healthy weight, childhood weight concerns, or a child who refuses to try new foods. If you're looking for a shortcut, we're probably not the right fit. But if you want something systematic, structured, and consistent — a strategy built collaboratively around your family's real life that genuinely works, and lasts — you're in exactly the right place.

Set the trajectory early,
and it carries for life.

The curve in our mark is a health trajectory — the path a person's health and well-being follows over a lifetime. Habits and foundations established in childhood lift that whole trajectory higher, shaping adult outcomes for decades. Early, intentional investment is the highest-return health decision a family can make.

With PHS Strategy
Foundation built early — maintained through life
Without strategy
Gradual erosion — earlier health challenges in adulthood
Trajectory Lifted
The shaded area — the compound benefit of early investment
Habits formed before age 12 persist into adulthood
30–40% better adult health outcomes with early intervention
Parental health directly shapes children's health trajectory

Chart note: Curves are illustrative representations grounded in longitudinal research on childhood habit formation and adult health outcomes. Early behavioural health investment is associated with significantly better adult trajectories (WHO Healthy Cities evidence base; ACE Study, Felitti et al.; Fries compression-of-morbidity framework). Individual results vary. For educational purposes only.

U.S. children born in 2000 are projected to develop type 2 diabetes in their lifetime*
3M+
Canadians live with diagnosed diabetes today — about 1 in 11, rising ~3% a year

The most common childhood chronic conditions are largely preventable.

In the United States, an estimated one in three children born in 2000 are projected to develop type 2 diabetes in their lifetime — and Canada is on the same trajectory, with diabetes already affecting more than three million people and climbing every year. Once an adult disease, type 2 is now appearing earlier and earlier, driven largely by modifiable factors: nutrition, activity, sleep, and weight. The Public Health Agency of Canada is explicit that healthy eating, regular activity, and weight management can prevent or delay it. Yet managing it commonly costs Canadian families $2,500–$2,900 a year with coverage — and up to $15,000 a year without it, every year for life. Prevention, by comparison, is a fraction of the cost — and the highest-return investment a family can make.

*Lifetime-risk projection for U.S. birth cohorts: Narayan et al., CDC / JAMA, 2003. Canadian prevalence and modifiable-risk guidance: Public Health Agency of Canada / Diabetes Canada (2023–2024 surveillance). Annual out-of-pocket cost figures for Canadians managing type 2 diabetes: Diabetes Canada. Type 1 diabetes is not preventable; the modifiable-risk framing refers to type 2. Figures vary by individual and coverage.

Building health, not just
preventing illness.

Most health advice asks "what makes children sick?" We ask the opposite question: what actively makes them well? This is Salutogenesis — a science developed by medical sociologist Aaron Antonovsky that focuses on the origins of health rather than the origins of disease. Combined with early prevention, it builds the foundations that lift a child's health trajectory for life.

Sense of Coherence
When life feels understandable, manageable, and meaningful, children develop a durable orientation toward health — one of the most evidenced predictors of lifelong well-being.
Resilience
We help your family build the inner and external resources to navigate stress and setbacks — so your children grow up able to stay well through whatever life brings.
Early Prevention
A sense of coherence and resilience form in childhood. Investing early is the highest-return decision a family can make for a lifetime of health and well-being.

Four pillars,
one coherent science.

PHS is not built on parenting fads or health trends. It rests on four established, peer-reviewed pillars that work together — and that no ordinary coaching service can claim.
